Transforming Wine
Circular Strategies for Optimizing Production and Adding Value to By-products
Bodegas Luis Marín S.L. is a family-owned winery with a long-standing winemaking tradition, deeply rooted in the region of Cariñena, Aragón. With over 200 hectares of its own vineyards, the winery has successfully blended generations of legacy with an innovative and responsible vision for the future. Committed to sustainability, Bodegas Luis Marín strives to optimize each phase of its production process, minimizing its environmental impact and actively contributing to the green economy.
Through its new project, co-financed by the Government of Aragón and the European Union, the winery aims to optimize its production process by not only improving the monitoring of the fermentation process but also enhancing the value of by-products derived from winemaking, transforming what was once considered waste into a valuable resource. This initiative aligns with the objectives of the European Green Deal and the Aragón Circular Strategy, to which Bodegas Luis Marín is firmly committed.
The project will not only improve resource efficiency but also reduce waste generation, promoting a circular economy in the wine sector. By implementing advanced technologies to repurpose products that were previously discarded, the winery demonstrates its leadership in seeking sustainable solutions that benefit both the environment and the local community. In this way, Bodegas Luis Marín continues to be a benchmark for high-quality wine production while advocating for a more conscious and environmentally respectful business model.
